Your Affordable HVAC Company

"Your pre-planning, explanation of the scope of work, install options and courteous staff gave us full confidence"

We can’t avoid the unfortunate fact that winter is just around the corner. I think everyone in California is looking forward to the possibility or rain, but it’s still hard to say goodbye to summer. These beautiful, warm days will soon go away and we’ll be left with nothing but cold. If you’re a fan of winter weather, more power to you. For the rest of us, the furnace will soon be our best friend once again.

Fall is a great time to get prepared for the very cold months ahead. If you haven’t had your furnace inspected recently, now would be the time. There are a multitude of problems that can occur with a furnace. An inspection from a professional technician is the only way to catch all the potential issues before they become major problems.

Atlas can send an experienced technician to inspect your furnace. Fall is the best time to have your unit inspected, maintained, or replaced before the first cold snap. After it gets cold, everyone wants their furnace inspected and things get very busy. Don’t get caught in the cold! Schedule an inspection early and be prepared. It’s good to think down the road a ways when it comes to your HVAC systems.

Our technician will perform a number of tasks that make sure your heating system is running optimally and prepared for the long haul. Here’s a list of the things we do to prepare your furnace for winter:

  • Clean out all debris, including dust, animals, and anything else that has found its way into the unit
  • Check controls, wiring, and connections
  • Ensure ductwork isn’t compromised, allowing for maximum air flow
  • Ensure that there are no air leaks in the whole system
  • Check the ignition, safety control, heat exchanger, heating elements, and burner assembly
  • Oil small parts to ensure proper lubrication
  • Check drain pan and condensate lines
  • Check the fan and motor blades
  • And more…

We can also help you determine if your furnace is beyond saving or an upgrade is necessary. Atlas carries Trane furnaces, which are some of the most reliable machines available.
